At least once a week I am going to try and review some fanfiction for you guys. I have been slacking lately due to the fact that I can’t stop reading long enough to review LOL! In this weeks edition, we are reviewing MusicMel’s gem of a story called “Bloodline.”

The story revolves around Ms. Arabella Kinsey, who is pretty much a prisoner of her own last name. Being a Kinsey means that she is compelled to follow in the footsteps of her family of doctors. When it comes to things like love and marriage, those are also decided upon by her bloodline.  A chance encounter with Justin Timberlake will set the wheels in motion and Arabella will find herself struggling with her loyalty to her family and her loyalty to herself.  Will she follow her heart or will she forever be trapped by her bloodline?

Here is one of my favorite bits of dialogue from this story:

“My family would never approve of me not marrying him.”

“Sometimes families have to be tested and sometimes they fail. But at the end of everything you have to be the one to live your life. You are the one that has to wake up in this life every morning.”

“Only if it were that simple.” I say under my breathe.
